ViriCiti – the leading company for cloud-based telematics systems for electric city buses and trucks – has been growing fast over the last years. This has resulted in several collaborations with prominent bus producers and operators. From 16 – 21 October, ViriCiti will present their latest achievements and innovations in the field of electric mobility at Busworld 2015.
BYD fleet overview
ViriCiti has equipped nearly all electric BYD buses in Europe and North America with their proprietary technology. More than half a million kilometers have already been logged of the BYD fleet of almost 50 buses. The latest addition are 23 buses operated at Stanford University – the largest electric bus-fleet of the U.S.A. At Busworld 2015, ViriCiti will showcase a live overview of the BYD fleet and give the possibility to zoom into specific vehicles, see real-time vehicle performance and click-through the functionality of the system. Ziehl-Abegg live electric bus demonstration
At the fair, an electric bus from Ziehl-Abegg will be driving on the fair grounds for interested visitors. In this bus a screen is implemented which shows the performance of the vehicle in real time. Experience the speed and possibilities of ViriCiti’s telematics system by making a test drive.
End of bus driver range anxiety
ViriCiti has been working on an exciting innovation to eliminate any range anxiety of the driver. With ViriCiti’s technology, the driver receives in-depth information about the remaining distance he has to drive and the remaining range of the battery, directly on his dashboard.
